Aveda's Comforting Tea is truly comfort in a cup!
Aveda products are a long time love of mine! I am a big fan of their hair products, makeup, lotions, candles, and now their tea! My sweet friends took me to get a pedicure when I was 8 months preggers at an Aveda salon. While waiting for our pedicures, they served us this delicious tea. I could not quite tell what was all in the tea---but I knew I loved it!

The tea is made with licorice root, peppermint leaf, sweet fennel, and basil. Now, some of you are thinking....GROSS! But...you would be surprised at how yummy this blend of ingredients taste together! You can't taste the licorice at all---and I hate, hate, hate licorice---so you really can't taste it, trust me. The mint flavor hits the back of your throat---a little surprise after you swallow. Another plus for some folks is: it is organic. And...the best thing about this tea---it is caffeine-free! So, you can enjoy a cup in the evening without worrying about being up all night! One last plus to share...there have been a couple of times this tea has even helped to settle my tummy, as well as my nerves (ha!).

Like Velvet!

I am super picky about lotions in general! I have spent more than I care to know on finding the perfect lotion. Well, I have been using Nivea Soft for some time now, and I LOVE it! This lotion is light and adds perfect amounts of moisture to your skin.

It really feels like velvet on your skin---so light and airy! One thing I really love about this lotion is its light, clean, fresh scent. It is not overpowering-but has a mild scent that smells so clean!

I tend to need to use less of this lotion because it provides such rich moisture. With that being said...it is a little more pricey than other lotions---but, the quality of this lotion helps stretch the amount you need to use.

A 6.8 oz. bottle cost around $6.50 at most drugstores. I like to buy it at Target or Walmart because it tends to be a bit cheaper. They also have a smaller tube size which I love to throw in my diaper bag or purse--great for winter chapped hands!

All Purpose Cleaner

I am a Mrs. Meyer's Junkie! I have her cleaners, dryer sheets, hand soaps, and stainless steel cleaner---I love every single product she has! I will review other Mrs. Meyer's products in the near future! But, today I will feature her all purpose cleaner...
Mrs. Meyer's Lemon Verbena All Purpose Cleaner is a fabulous product for your home! I bought it on a whim at a health food store and have loved, loved, loved it! The smell freshens your house in a bright and airy way! I love cleaning with this product for two reasons: 1. it smells divine! 2. it really cleans. Now, you do have to mix it with water--it is concentrated and needs to be diluted--which I like because you can make it the desired strength of your choice. Mrs. Meyer's tends to be more pricey than other products, but it is a quality product and is worth the extra money! The bottle says you can, " tackle dirty floors, cupboards, counter tops and more." And...all of the above is true. One note, it does tend to smudge on our granite counter tops. You can buff it out with a towel though. In general, Mrs. Meyer's makes a solid product. Their hand soaps are delicious as well! If you are in a cleaning rut, and need some inspiration to get down on those sticky floors, try Mrs. Meyer's Lemon Verbena cleaner, you will bury your nose in your floors to smell the light, airy, delicious scent!
Give this cleaner a try--your nose will enjoy every minute of it!
