Sleepin' in a sack!

My little boy loved to be swaddled as a young, young baby.

Around 8 weeks---he was getting out of his swaddle every night. So I stopped.

I got hooked on these sleep sacks...

I loved the idea of a wearable blanket.

I am sure a long sleeve/footie onesie is just fine too...

This stuff is A-W-E-S-O-M-E!

It is like eating a peanut butter cup...but in peanut butter form.

It has a smooth, fluffy texture...love.it. The dark chocolate flavor is a lovely addition to the PB!

A spoonful is wonderful. I even put a big glob on top of my oatmeal this morning!
Great for a mid-afternoon snack too!!! TRY SOME!

I am more than satisfied with my purchase...slightly obsessed! Oh...I found mine at my local Publix...around $5 for the jar----but, you don't eat much in a serving...so it does last!

Good cup of Joe!

I love good coffee...I splurge on my coffee from time to time...
However, I have found one of my favorites these days is Dunkin' Donuts Dark!
I can't believe I'm saying this...but SBucks is starting to taste like an ashtray to me...So...I will be sticking with "DD" and a local establishment {another post!}

This coffee has a nice, bold flavor...and...it is nice and dark!
It is around $7.99 a bag.
But...Publix and Target run sales on Dunkin' Donuts coffee...all the time! I stock up!
{i love the decaf too...i really like to mix the dark and decaf!}
And...if you live in {205}---a Dunkin' Donuts just opened out in Pelham!

to throw in your purse or diaper bag!

We have all been there...you or your child{blow out diaper} gets a nasty stain!

You are hours from being at home...

you need to treat it so the garment is not ruined!

I have found this pen to do the trick!

I keep one in my diaper bag for little mishaps!

Merlot Friday!

Hello! Happy Friday! I want to share a nice wine we sipped on this week!

A wine I have not had in a long time...but, it was just perfect for a wind down after a long day! Estancia makes a good wine for the price!

And...they tend to put it on sale a good bit, too! We found the merlot on sale last weekend! This wine has a pretty red, ruby color...and it is nice and smooth...We enjoyed with dinner two nights this week...and it is delish with a piece of dark chocolate. It has a berry flavor to me...it says it has hints of mocha...but, I didn't pick those up in my tasting. My husband should write these wine reviews...he has crazy, sensitive taste buds...can pull out flavas well! :) I, on the other hand, just like the wine because it is good! ha! But...this is a "good 'n!' for sure! Oh...I believe it runs in the $10-$15 range!Happy Weekend! Happy Sipping!

Got a Cold?

Got a cold? I do! Yuck!
After 2 weeks back at work with the kiddies...a cold hit hard! Wowza!

So...I ran by CVS yesterday and grabbed some much needed cold meds.

Since I am still nursing, my options were a little limited.

But...this Tylenol Cold Medicine worked like a charm!

I was pretty stuffy----and felt AWFUL!

I don't feel 100% today...but, I do feel much better!

And...what I like best about this medicine is...I don't feel like I am on speed or stuck in a foggy cloud! I feel pretty normal--which is hard with most cold medicines!

The only thing I really don't care for is the taste...It is a little like "grandma's cough syrup!" You shake your head like you did a really strong shot after drinking it! Oh...for some reason I bought the liquid form...I never do that...But...it does the trick and I can breathe fresh air again! I am sure the pill form is much easier on the palate! I'll probably go that route next time!
